How to play

No manual needed. Four steps and you're in — the cards do the rest.

1🫶

Form a circle

Everyone sits in a circle with the deck in the middle. The youngest player draws first.

2🃏

Draw & do it

Every card spells out exactly what it does. It's all about who ends up wearing cards — get stuck with one and it's not a win.

3🤐

7 cards and you're out

Wear seven cards and you leave the circle in «ghost mode»: nobody may answer you or even crack a smile at you.

4🏆

Last two win

If anyone answers you, they take your place and you jump back in from zero. The game ends when the circle is down to two — they're the winners.

📜 The full rules, straight from the box+

El Dayra is the right game for any get-together. Simply put, everyone gathers in a circle, and so do the cards. The youngest person in the circle draws the first card. Every card's job and how to use it is explained on the rules sheet. The game is all about who ends up wearing cards. So if you get stuck with a card, don't celebrate — that means you're losing, boss. Trouble starts when you've worn seven cards: the circle loses one player, and you, star, are out. But don't worry — you still get a chance to play again. Once you're out with seven cards, you're in «ghost mode». That means none of the players may answer you or even acknowledge you with a smile. So what if someone answers you? Then you take their place, they step out, and you start from zero. The game ends when the circle is down to just two players — and they're the winners.
